The prospect of becoming a first-time mother can be a daunting one for many women.

But Emilia Fox appeared calm and relaxed as she showed off her burgeoning bump in London in a pretty pink top, jeans and a black cardigan.

The 36-year-old actress, who is expecting her first child with campaigner boyfriend  Jeremy Gilley, made the most of the sunshine as she met friends in west London.

Silent Witness star Emilia spoke recently about the prospect about starting a family with Jeremy.

She said: ‘He knows me inside out. We had a gentle, long period of getting to know each other and then a very quick pregnancy.
